“I’ll go back to L.A, and the so called friends who’ll write books about me, if I ever make it and wonder about the soul who can tell which smiles I’m faking” This isn’t the feel good song especially during holiday season but it’s perfect one for a gloomy day. - 47. Swift was inspired by a critic for this track. After her performance at 52nd Annual Grammy awards, a music critic voiced his views which was quiet offensive. But last night she should’ve auto tuned, to save her career.”
This was just one of the many other criticism Swift was facing from the start of her career, and she wanted to address this in her style. In and interview to GQ magazine in 2015, Swift said she wanted to write a satirical song about herself addressing the media image of her as “a girl who is crazy but seductive, but glamorous, a bit nuts and a bit manipulative.” Blank space is the exaggerated version of her love life and it is one of the most watched Taylor Swift song. Till date this track has 3.7 Billion views on YouTube. - 2. Delicate, Album name – Reputation, Released – (2017)
This is my all time favorite song from Taylor Swift. Great lyrics, great music composition, and awesome vibes from start to end. Taylor dances her heart out in this electrifying song.
Taking note of her fake and publicized image she conceived this track and wrote about her vulnerable side. This Taylor Swift song became so popular that it was performed in her various concerts including the Eras tour. - 1. All too well, Album name – Red, Released – (2012)
This is the longest song by Taylor Swift till now. She narrates every little details of her failed relationship and crafts an astonishing composition. Later in 2021 Swift directed a “short film” for this track, starring Sadie Sink, Dylan O’Brien and herself.
If you haven’t seen the 2021 version of the music video then seriously you need to watch it NOW! It is well directed and the lead actors have given a phenomenal performance.
Taylor Swift’s songs have broken multiple records on Billboard Hot 100 and I can’t wait to see what her next song or album will be like. Let us know in the comments what’s your favorite Taylor Swift song and why!
