Oscar nominee Rachel McAdams recently received her Hollywood walk of fame award for her long time contribution in movies. The actress along with her partner Jamie Linden, unveiled her star on Hollywood Boulevard, on Jan 20, 2026. Hollywood actors Domhnall Gleeson and Dylan O’Brien were also present as McAdams received this award.

The Canadian actress made her acting debut in 2002 with the movie “Hot Chick.” However her breakthrough role came in 2004 with a romantic movie “The Notebook.” Since then McAdams has entertained the audience with her films like About Time, Time Traveler’s Wife, The Vow and Spotlight. Her upcoming film “Send Help” which also stars Dylan O’Brien is about to release on Jan 30, 2026!

In her speech McAdams thanked her parents who encouraged her to join children theater camp, she said “this is where I found my real tribe and true dream.” “It was one of the most joyful times of my life, so much so that theater camp turned into theater college.” Further on she thanked late actor Diane Keaton “She took me under her wing like I was her own daughter. She taught me no matter how long you’ve been doing this you’ve to leave everything you have on table, each performance you must muster up with as much love as you can.”

Lastly the actress thanked her partner Jamie Linden “To Jamie my north star, thank you for keeping me quasi normal.” After hearing her speech and watching her glow on receiving this award, I must say, this is the best start of the year in Hollywood. And McAdams deserves every bit of this award. For some she may be the quintessential girl next door but she has proved her talent with diverse roles as well.
