Sophie Turner has surprised the audience once again with her look as Lara Croft, in Amazon’s new Tomb Raider series. The English actress who made her acting debut with HBO’s fantasy drama Game Of Thrones, is making headlines with her new look as Lara Croft! This is a new adaptation of Tomb Raider, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and it is created by Phoebe Waller Bridge.

Recently Amazon MGM studios, revealed the latest look of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, and I must say she looks absolutely stunning!

Officially Tomb Raider is an action adventure video game series centered on Lara Croft, a highly intelligent, athletic archaeologist who explores ancient tombs and lost civilization in search of powerful artifacts.

The new Tomb Raider series is currently in it’s filming stage and it has an amazing cast of actors like Sigourney Weaver, Phoebe Waller Bridge and Bill Paterson. The series release date is yet to be announced, but the first look of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft has already created a buzz amongst the fans.

Previously actors like Angeline Jolie and Alicia Vikander have portrayed the role of Lara Croft and I must say they did a decent job. In the year 2000 of course Angeline Jolie, nailed the look of this video game character and her popularity helped the movie make millions!

In one of her interview Sophie said she has “massive shoes to fill” on taking up this legendary role! Phoebe Waller Bridge who has worked on films like Indiana Jones and James Bond, is heading the script of this series. In her interview she said “The character of Lara Croft was inspired by Indiana Jones and Bond, and it just feels like the perfect final step in my adventure, through this kind of franchise world!”

Well, looking at the star cast and the writers approach I’m eagerly waiting for this series.
